Reach ROUTES
The academy, as part of Reach South Academy Trust, aims to develop a diverse, highly skilled and motivated workforce who work together for the benefit of young people. We understand that everyone in the organisation is an individual with different strengths, skills and interests. Consequently, we value all roles and career pathways, seeing every role as contributing to a child's development and success. As such we have created 'Reach Routes' to show staff some of the career paths available to them within Reach South. However, life is not a linear pathway and we know that there will be crossover between routes and routes that go forwards and back and then forwards again. Regardless of the journey, the ethos of Reach Routes remains the same- to create a career pathway bespoke to each individual.
These documents are not a comprehensive list of qualifications and job roles, but rather a starting point for discussion to allow the creation of an individual pathway.
There are currently 3 different versions of Reach Routes, which will adapt and change alongside our organisation. You can view each version below.
- Reach Routes for Teachers
- Reach Routes for Education Support Staff e.g. Teaching Assistants
